New EVP Chameleon Rhino Rubber Fend Off Plate with directional light pods

Description

EVP have developed the only true flexible number plate light incorporating the SoundOff Signal Fascia 4 silicon lens light heads, making this the only 100% true “rubberised” number plate fend off plate on the market today. The unit is also 100% recyclable so the ultimate green product…. introducing the EVP Chameleon Rhino with the additional two directional light pods.

 

Designed and manufactured in the UK, EVP have listened and designed a product with the input of many industry leaders in the emergency vehicle conversion market. With top and bottom internal cable runs, no additional internal wiring connection and multiple mounting options, the Chameleon Rhino offers the ultimate in flexibility. Pods can be positioned to the top or bottom depending on the requirement, simply turn the unit upside down its that simple. The unit can also be used on the front or rear of the vehicle, ideal for lease cars, vans and EV’s.

 

Using the industry leading Class 2 ECER65 silicon lens light heads from SoundOff Signal, the angle of the lights can be adjusted to take up any curve in the vehicle bumper thus allowing for the light to spread out at 90 degrees to the vehicle, as per the original concept of a number plate fend off light. This unique design also allows for the easy changing of the light heads, in the event of damage, making this a serviceable product, reducing materials going to landfill.

 

Units are available pre-wired with simultaneous flashing lights, pre-set to quint flash (triple flash) although this can be easily changed. With the option of self-configured CANBUS, flashed via the control system, or conventional fit with the light heads controlling the flash patterns, the Chameleon is the true flexible option. For CANBUS mode simply connect the green wires to ground and the lights when powered are automatically set to steady burn for the control system to operate the light functions. Please specify upon order your desired pre programmed configuration, this can be changed by yourself at any time.

 

We are able to offer the product in blue, amber, blue/white and blue/amber side modules which are ideal for those undertaking mixed use with the vehicle. For the directional pods we can offer blue, amber, white, blue/white, blue/red or blue/amber. Simply select your required configuration.

 

Fixings included to enabling the unit to be screwed or bolted directly to the vehicle.

FLEXIBILITY
Silicone optical molding materials can be molded into complex shapes, withstand heat better than plastic, and are lighter than glass. By combining separate parts (optics, housing, weather seal), into one single part, this allows for an overall smaller light and provides improved reliability by reducing the number of parts. 
LONGER LIFE
SILASTIC™ moldable optical silicone elastomers’ hardness reduces surface tack to enable tougher, more rigid injection molded parts. The material’s toughness is great for accurate part fixation, high IP rating and withstanding heat.
